DriveMate – Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the DriveMate mobile application (“App”) and website (“Site”). By using DriveMate, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using DriveMate, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and legally able to agree to these Terms.

2. Nature of the Service

DriveMate provides:

  • Hands-free audio chat

  • One-on-one and group driver matching

  • Community connections based on interests and routes

DriveMate does NOT offer transportation or ride services.
Users must not use the app to arrange rides, pickups, or transportation exchanges.

3. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Use DriveMate hands-free while driving.

  • Follow all applicable traffic and safety laws.

  • Not engage in harassment, abuse, or unsafe conduct.

  • Not record or distribute other users’ audio without consent.

  • Not use DriveMate for illegal activities.

4. Account & Conduct

We may suspend or terminate accounts that:

  • Violate these terms

  • Misuse the platform

  • Engage in harmful or unsafe behavior

We reserve the right to refuse access to anyone at our discretion.

5. Safety Disclaimer

DriveMate is designed to be hands-free, but you are solely responsible for your safety on the road.
We are not liable for:

  • Accidents

  • Distracted driving incidents

  • User misuse of the app

Always prioritize safe driving.

6. Intellectual Property

DriveMate branding, logos, design elements, and content belong to ForgeBridge LLC.
You may not copy, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the App.

7. Limitation of Liability

DriveMate is provided “as is” without warranties.
ForgeBridge LLC is not responsible for:

  • App interruptions

  • Match availability

  • User behavior

  • Network issues

Maximum liability is limited to the amount you paid (if any) for the service.

8. Modifications to the Terms

We may update these Terms at any time.
Continued use of the App means you accept any updated Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of North Carolina, USA.

    We do not store precise location history.

    Session duration, match attempts, crash logs.

  • Location: To match you with nearby or route-aligned drivers.

  • Notifications: To alert you of matches and activity.
